Build a library you can actually use.
Takt turns links and files into structured entries, keeps them organized, and lets you ask questions grounded in what you saved. Start small: one useful source is enough.
If you opened this inside Takt, this page is already your first entry. You can keep it as a reference or delete it whenever you no longer need it.
1. Save something worth returning to
In the iPhone app, tap the add button and paste a public link. Takt can save sources such as articles and YouTube videos, then turn supported content into a readable Markdown entry.
Save directly from another iPhone app
- Open a public page or video you want to keep.
- Tap the iPhone share button.
- Choose Takt from the share sheet.
If Takt is not visible, open the share sheet’s More menu and add it to your favorites.
Not every source exposes the same amount of content. When Takt cannot analyze a source, it can still keep the link as a bookmark so it is not lost.
2. Make the entry yours
Open an entry to read it, edit its title or content, and add tags. Tags are created when you add them to an entry, which means every tag starts with something useful attached.
3. Group related entries
Collections are for larger themes: a research project, recipes to try, a course, a trip, or anything else that benefits from a dedicated place. Open Collections in your library, tap the plus button, and choose a name that fits your own system.
4. Ask Takt
Ask Takt answers from the entries you choose. Add one or more entry references to a question when you want a focused comparison, summary, or next step. As your library grows, you can also ask across the wider library.

5. Use the same library on your computer
Go to app.trytakt.com and sign in with the same account. Your entries, collections, tags, and Ask Takt conversations stay with your account.
