Takt MCP
Connect Takt to Grok.
Make the sources you saved in Takt available as private, retrievable context in Grok.
Add Takt as a custom connector in Grok, then complete the Takt authorization flow. Grok can then search and retrieve the notes in the Takt account you authorized.
Set up the connector
- Open grok.com/connectors.
- Select New Connector, then select Custom.
- Name the connector Takt and provide this MCP server URL:
https://mcp.trytakt.com/mcp
- Continue and complete the Takt sign-in and authorization flow.
- Use the Takt connector in a Grok conversation and ask it to search your library.
Verify the connection
Try: “Search my Takt library for what I saved about [topic]. Name the notes you used.” Takt MCP is read-only: it gives Grok access to retrieve relevant context, never to edit or delete your notes.
Connection trouble
If Grok asks you to authenticate again, complete the browser sign-in again from the connector settings. If you use Google sign-in for Takt and have no Takt password, choose “Forgot password” in the authorization window to set one.
